Huawei Android 8.x Guide

Essential Settings

These settings must be properly configured to keep iKeyMonitor working.

    1. Download and Install the Special version from the Cloud Panel to lock iKeyMonitor App in “Recent Apps”
      Tap on the “Lock” icon on the top of “iKeyMonitor” window

    2. Open iKeyMonitor – Wizard – “Hide in Recent Apps” to install the hidden version to hide it in recent apps. You can also download the general version manually and install it to override the special version.
      Tap on “Hide in Recent Apps”
    3. Settings > Apps & notifications > Apps > All apps > Phone Manager > Storage > CLEAR DATA (1,2,3,4)
      Tap on the button to stop it.

Battery Settings

 

    1. Settings > Apps & notifications > Apps > Gear icon > Configure apps > Special access > Ignore battery optimization > All apps > Internet Service > Allow(1,2,3,4,5,6)
      Set to “ON

    2. Settings > Apps & notifications > Apps > All apps > Internet Service > App info > Battery > Powerintensive prompt(1,2,3,4)
      Set to “OFF

    3. Phone manager > Battery > Gear icon > Power-intensive prompt
      Set to “OFF

    1. Phone manager > Battery > Power saving mode & Ultra power saving mode (1,2)
      Set to “OFF

Background App Setting

 

    1. At Phone manager > Launch, tap on the name or icon of “Internet Service” 1-2 times until it pops up a dialog “Manage manually“, set Auto-launch, Secondary launch, Run in background to “ON” (1,2,3)
    2. Phone manager > Cleanup > Gear icon > Auto cleanup (1,2,3)
      Set to “OFF” 
    3. Phone manager > Virus scan > Gear icon > Cloud scan & Auto-update (1,2,3,4)
      Set to “OFF” 

Other Settings

No need to change these settings by default. But they will affect iKeyMonitor functions if changed by user.

Data Usage

    1. Settings > Apps & notifications > Apps > All apps > Internet Service > App info > Data usage > Mobile data & WLAN & Background data & Roaming data & Ignore data usage(1,2,3,4)
      Set to “ON

    2. Settings > Mobile data > Data saver > Unrestricted data access > Internet Service (1,2,3,4)
      Set to “ON
       

App Permission

    1. Settings > Apps & Permissions > Internet Service > App info > Permission (select all) > Set individual permissions (select all) > Trust this app and App auto-launch (1,2,4)
      Set to “ON

Notifications Setting

    1. Settings > Apps & notifications > Apps > More > Show system processes > Android System > Notifications > Notifications management > Apps consuming battery > Allow notifications (1,2,3)
      Set to “OFF
